The 10 Commandments
for the
Young
Social Media Users

Inspired by the Ten Commandments from the Old Testament, this DECALOGUE FOR DIGITEENS functions as a road map for young netizens (and their guardians), encouraging proper and responsible use of social media such as basic etiquette in online interactions.

It will be a "hub" for other sites, online articles, videos, etc. that speak of netiquette as well.

DECALOGUE FOR DIGITEENS

"Decalogue" means "ten words" and is commonly used to refer to the Ten Commandments given to Moses as a guide for the Israelites' daily living.

The term "DigiTeens" is a compound word from "digital" (to refer to the contemporary times) and "teens" (to refer to the youth, 18-29 aged, the primary audience of the website). DigiTeen can be interchangeably used with "young netizens" or "young users of social media".
