Intro.png

Thou shall not covet your neighbor’s Wife.

The purity of the heart is the precondition of the vision of God. It requires modesty. It means refusing to unveil what should remain hidden. Purity of heart brings freedom from widespread eroticism and avoids entertainment inclined to voyeurism and illusion.

Jesus’ beatitude on ‘the pure in heart’ refers to those who have attuned their intellects and wills to the demands of God’s holiness chiefly in three areas: charity, chastity, sexual rectitude, love of truth, and orthodoxy of faith.

A lustful look at a woman is an act of adultery in one’s heart. St. John distinguishes three kinds of covetousness or concupiscence: lust of the flesh, eyes, and pride of life. Concupiscence is any intense form of human desire.

Purity and innocence are important values that are often associated with goodness and virtue. They represent a state of being free from corruption, sin, or wrongdoing. In a world that can often be harsh and unforgiving, purity and innocence offer a sense of hope and optimism. They remind us of the potential for goodness that exists within all of us, and inspire us to strive for a better, more compassionate world.

Do I keep my purity and innocence?

Be thankful for your gifts; thou shalt not compare yourself, or what you have with others.”

“Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Mt 6:21).

The virtue of responsibility is imbedded with man by birth. He is responsible for everything that has been subjected to his care and rule. Above all, he is responsible for his neighbor who promotes the welfare and wellbeing of everyone.

‘Be always responsible online’ means to behave respectfully, protect one’s reputation and privacy, and think critically. Exercising global community membership over the benefits of the internet, everyone must be aware of their duties and responsibilities towards others.

Whether one is online or offline the relationship is the same. The good reputation of the member is a matter of concern.

It is astounding that the average teen ages 13-18 spend about nine hours on social media each day.

Social media facilitates the rapid spread of trends, challenges, and ideologies among youth. The pressure to conform to online norms and expectations can compel Gen Z individuals to engage in risky behaviors, including substance abuse, vandalism, and even violent crimes.

Inappropriate social media content for the appropriate age allures the youth and leaves them inhuman. Increased usage of social media has harmed marriages and relationships. It leads to more marital problems like infidelity, conflicts, jealousy, and eventually divorce.

Respect others' relationships

Protect and maintain healthy relationships

A negative and destructive comparison with others, with what one has and not pushes man to seek outside the true relationship. Be it family ties or things, the reality impels one to search and be contented within a true love relationship.

What we are, what we have, and what we give and receive is the free and abundant gift of God.

[You may try these]

1. Respect boundaries: It's important to respect the boundaries of others on social media. Don't pry into their personal lives or share private information without their consent.

2. Communicate effectively: Communication is key to maintaining healthy relationships on social media. Be clear and concise in your messages, and avoid using aggressive or confrontational language.

3. Show empathy: Social media can be a breeding ground for negativity and conflict. Show empathy towards others and try to understand their perspective before jumping to conclusions or making assumptions.
